Three days of science and connection: ILCOR in Delhi 🇮🇳
After three days of ILCOR meetings in Delhi, I’m leaving grateful for the opportunity to contribute, learn, and spend time with colleagues who share a commitment to improving resuscitation care.
Our discussions covered a broad range of neonatal topics for inclusion in the 2027 Consensus on Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR), including oxygen, cord management, respiratory management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and simulation and training. Working through the evidence together was a reminder of how much careful thought goes into this process—and how much we still have to learn.
There were also many memorable moments outside the meeting room. Our trip to Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal, generously arranged by the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, offered an opportunity to experience remarkable history and architecture together. Great food, traditional Indian music and dance, and conversations over dinner made our time in India even more special.
Most of all, I feel honoured to be part of this group. I value the knowledge, dedication, and perspectives that colleagues bring to the table, and I’m grateful to play a small part in our shared work.
Thank you to our hosts, organizers, and colleagues for three rewarding days in Delhi. 🇮🇳
