Recruiting Randomized Controlled Trials

This page highlights randomized controlled trials that are currently recruiting newborn infants, led by or involving the Centre for the Studies of Asphyxia and Resuscitation (CSAR) through Research4Babies.org. These studies are actively enrolling participants across local, national, and international sites and address key questions in neonatal care, particularly around birth, resuscitation, and early postnatal management. Families and clinicians may find information here about eligibility, study aims, and participating centers. CSAR serves both as a trial coordinating centre and as an active recruiting site, ensuring rigorous study conduct, ethical oversight, and close collaboration with participating hospitals and care teams.

If you or your site is interested in joining any of CSAR’s current neonatal clinical trials, or if you are leading a neonatal trial and would like CSAR to participate as a study site, please contact Dr. Schmölzer directly at schmolze@ualberta.ca
