What can you expect?
Within CSAR, trainees receive genuine one-on-one mentorship  in areas crucial to the project and career development (e.g., development of research proposals, obtaining funding, ethics and administrative responsibilities, scientific networking, and work-life balance) and a true dedication to the success of the trainees.

This has been demonstrated by past trainees success in abstract presentations at international meetings, awards, scholarships, and publications as well as various supervisors awards for outstanding mentorship.

At CSAR, trainees are engaged in  an innovative, hypothesis-driven, clinically relevant research program with access to cutting edge equipment and membership in various centres and institutes within the University of Alberta and collaborators around the world.
