MVP Trial Launches with a Strong Start

The Manual T-piece Versus Ventilator Positive Pressure Ventilation During Resuscitation of Extremely Premature Neonates (MVP) Trial is officially underway, and we're excited to share that the study has launched with tremendous momentum.

On the very first day of recruitment, four babies were enrolled, marking an impressive start for this important research initiative. The MVP Trial is investigating whether ventilator-delivered positive pressure ventilation (V-PPV) can improve outcomes for extremely premature infants compared with the current standard of care using a manual T-piece resuscitator.

This early enrollment milestone reflects the dedication and collaboration of our delivery room, neonatal, respiratory therapy, and research teams, who worked together to ensure a smooth and successful study launch.

Every participant enrolled brings us one step closer to understanding how we can optimize respiratory support during the critical first moments of life for extremely premature babies.
