The countdown is on for the 9th Annual Neonatal Resuscitation Symposium and Workshop, and this is our final call to register and join an outstanding international community dedicated to improving neonatal resuscitation.
Hosted by the Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health, the symposium will bring together clinicians, researchers, educators, nurses, respiratory therapists, trainees, and other healthcare professionals interested in the latest advances in neonatal resuscitation.
The program features an exceptional lineup of internationally recognized experts, including Charles Roehr, Roger Soll, Bobbi Byrne, Jenny Fox, Abhishek Makkar, Jennifer Fang, and Louis Halamek.
Symposium co-chairs Edgardo Szyld and Myra Wyckoff will lead a highly interactive meeting focused on neonatal resuscitation science, practice, education, and ethics.
Topics will include:
Optimizing ventilation in the delivery room
Early surfactant administration
Implementing the NRP 9th Edition across diverse clinical settings
Neonatal tele-resuscitation
Team preparedness for high-acuity, low-occurrence neonatal emergencies
The meeting begins on September 10 with an interactive pre-symposium workshop on neonatal tele-resuscitation, followed by the main symposium on September 11. Presentations will be complemented by expert panel discussions, posters, and opportunities to exchange ideas in the friendly and informal atmosphere that makes this meeting unique.
Research4Babies will be there too. Dr. Georg Schmölzer is a member of the organizing committee, and we look forward to connecting with colleagues, collaborators, and friends from around the world. If you are attending in person, please come and say hello!
For our international colleagues, registration is completely free. Everyone who registers will also receive access to the symposium recording after the meeting. Even if the live sessions are inconvenient because of time-zone differences, you can still register and watch the full program afterward.
